1. Paid-For Disclaimer
All communications produced or distributed by this campaign — including this website, mailers, digital ads, text messages, and broadcast media — are paid for by Bob Davis for Colorado. This campaign is not authorized by any other candidate or candidate's committee.
2. Contribution Limits (2025–2026 Cycle)
For Colorado State House candidate committees, an individual may contribute up to $475 per election. The primary election and general election are treated as separate elections. Small donor committees and political party committees are subject to separate, higher limits set by Colorado statute and SOS rule. Limits are adjusted by the Secretary of State; visit the official Colorado contribution limits page for the most current figures.
3. Prohibited Contributions
The campaign cannot lawfully accept contributions from:
- Corporations or labor unions (general treasury funds), under Colo. Const. Art. XXVIII §3(4)
- Foreign nationals, under 52 U.S.C. §30121
- Federal government contractors
- Any person making a contribution in the name of another
- Anonymous contributions in excess of $20
- Persons under 18 years of age (unless given knowingly and voluntarily from the minor's own funds)
4. Donor Information Collected
Colorado law requires the campaign to use best efforts to collect and publicly report the full name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of each individual whose contributions aggregate more than $100 in an election cycle. All contributor information is filed with the Colorado Secretary of State and is publicly searchable on TRACER.
5. Tax Status
Contributions to Bob Davis for Colorado are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.
6. Reports & Public Records
The campaign files periodic contribution and expenditure reports with the Colorado Secretary of State on the schedule set forth in C.R.S. §1-45-108. All reports are available to the public at no charge on tracer.sos.colorado.gov.
7. Complaints
